The idea of the product is great. The execution of it not is great. There were manufacturing errors. I found a few faults myself (eg. I bought this unit as well as the Arayah 63'' for a long wall. Parts came in damaged for this cabinet; however, they were quickly replaced. Putting it together wasn't too hard - just had to put the top on out of order because I wouldn't be able to assemble it and then lift it on top of the other cabinet - but it worked. Wasn't too hard to put it all together. I can't agree with all of the reviews - because its not cheaply made, very sturdy if you put it together correctly, instructions are easy enough, and looks great! The “rustic” antique black looks nice, but due to the ROUGH texture of the wood I think it will be extremely hard to dust. The dust clothe will catch in the wood. For the cost, I think I should have kept looking. I also believe that photos of the lower section should have been available to view. I do “like” the armoire, but I don’t “love” it. I guess it will do the job. I hung coats & jackets from the clothes rod and beneath the shelf I installed I put my capris. I used the other shelf in the lower section and placed my jeans in there. It’s very roomy. Note, it states there are 3 shelves and there were only 2 actual shelves in the unit. I guess if you placed 2 shelves in the upper section that you would have 3 separate spaces if you count the bottom of the upper area as the 3rd shelf. Hope picture helps if you’re trying to decide..
