Even after my misunderstanding of the "delivery date" that was NOT to the home but the warehouse AND THEN that next day, the truck arrived with my new washer. I am really sorry for being antsy but the deliver guys were so nice and today I am doing the wash like a normal person. So far so good. Washing great, no noise no “walking” around. It was leveled to the floor with legs screwed all the way to the fame. No bouncing around as its spins. Can’t hear the washer from 10 feet away even if I want to. Large capacity big enough for family of 4. Drum is so big that bought a grabber for laundry items placed on the bottom. You can decide how much water to use to have your laundry done the way you want to not the government. Normal cycle run ~50 minutes. Easy to use with 3 knobs. Find a way to do pre-soaking of laundry with Lysol germs & Covid 19 killer with quick rinse & spin function (wish it was there “pre-soak”) Just load the laundry in, put some Lysol disinfectant directly to the drum on the top of a load & let the machine feel with water, once it’s full just press the pause button & hold on for 20 minutes. Needs 15+ minutes to disinfect. Then press the start button again & let the machine finish it (rinse & drain) After this you can select your regular wash cycle to wash these items. Basket is solid unpainted stainless steel so nothing to peel off. The agitator is dual function with softener cup on the top of it. Not advisable to use softener instead using Lysol disinfectant is better, more practical & healthier. There is separate spot for bleach in the lower left corner of the machine. That’s about it. Hope this helps. With light laundries this machine will last probably 20+ years if treated & cared for right. How to level the machine? Easy, only the front 2 legs need to be adjusted to your needs (best to screw them all the way to the frame) & the back legs will adjust & lock automatically after the machine is tilted forward 4-6” & lowered back to the floor. Bought this unit 13 months ago. We have not had any mechanical issues. However, there are 2 issues that are frustrating 1) the agitation and spin cycle excessively beat your clothes which produces ALOT of lint. There is no lint filter in the machine to collect the garment fibres that break off during these cycles. We had to install a lint trap in the stink drain to collect all the lint that MUST be cleaned after (and sometimes during) every use. If not, the lint will clog our drain pipe with grey hardened lint that requires a plumber to break it up! 2) dark clothes regularly get covered with grey lint smudges. These need to be cleaned off manually. because of this we question the cleanliness of the laundry. We just use tide liquid soap - at most level 3 of 5 on the measure. We will add borax powder or Oxiclean powder to the towel loads only. We bought GE based on the trust we had with our local independent retailer. We have a GE dryer and Fridge that are working properly. But the washing machine...? Probably would not buy it again. A relative has a HE Top load in another brand and they don't have these issues.. This the worst washer I have ever owned. So noisy. Does not spin as well as my old one that was 25 years old. Fabric softener spots on my dark clothes. No option for a deep rinse/fill for colours. Clothes come out with dry spots not even touched by water through wash cycle have to actually fill up pails of water and put in machine because there isn't even enough water to wash clothes. Dark clothes come out with residue from soap...even after using only a teaspoon of liquid detergent.
