It has 3 settings and also you can set it to turn after a certain amount of time. The moist therapy is used with a foam pad provided that you wet and slip into the heating pad sleeve. I don't like it too much but I'm sure that a lot of people would prefer the moistness. Overall I give the product 4 stars because there is room for improvement . Fill the machine with purified water. Fill the host until the water level reaches the plastic grate covering the tank port and the beeping indicator stops. (to prevent mineral or cumulated and blocked pipe, purified water is recommended).
