It has 3 settings and also you can set it to turn after a certain amount of time. The moist therapy is used with a foam pad provided that you wet and slip into the heating pad sleeve. I don't like it too much but I'm sure that a lot of people would prefer the moistness. Overall I give the product 4 stars because there is room for improvement . This is so nice very comfortable. The deep pockets are wonderful fit my rather thick mattress. I haven't yet tried to set it up to my phone, which is not a priority for me.
