Made for a small portion of sleepers who find most bed pillows too full. This down pillow is great for stomach sleepers or those with neck issues who have tried to buy 'soft pillows' in a store and they are still too firm. It is also great for adding a layer of cushion to an existing pillow. Note this is an extremely flat, low, and thin pillow.

Down-perfect pillows are the perfect combination of support and softness! This is a 3-chamber pillow, containing goose feathers and down. The majority of the fill (about 90% of the total fill weight) is the goose feather, which is in the center chamber. The feather core provides great, resilient support due to the feather quills. The outer chambers are filled with 575 loft goose down, which creates a soft buffer against the feather. Medium support is a moderately filled, fairly supportive pillow that works well for the front, back, side, and combination sleepers - it's a crowd-pleaser!

Other websites were out of items similar to this and were a bit more expensive anyhow. Since I am a down pillow sleeper nothing else works for me so it was important for me to find 75% down (some websites say they are high "feather" count but make sure it's "down" and not goose feathers if that's what you want). The product description was right on, it is 75% down not just "feathers". The only complaint I have is that it's a bit too fluffy (ie a little stiffer than I wanted) but maybe that's because I was used to my old worn out down pillow. This plush, soft pillow is made with microfiber fill, a high quality polyester designed to mimic the properties of down. Microfiber traps less air than down and is a tad denser, so it does provide a bit more support than natural down. One benefit of a synthetic pillow is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!
