My son loves his new bed, we paid for the Wayfair assembly and it took about 3 12 hours for him to build. It was worth paying the fee to save us headaches! This ended up being one of those pieces that takes some patience to put together, but once finished, it really impressed me with the overall quality and sturdiness. The assembly definitely took some time and attention to detail. It took me 3-4 hour to fully complete, mostly because there are a lot of parts and the diagrams can take a little getting used to at first. One of the screws pictured in the instructions didn’t exactly match what came in the hardware bag, but thankfully the numbering system was accurate enough that I was still able to figure everything out without much trouble. My biggest recommendation is to organize all the pieces by their letter labels before starting. That alone will save a lot of time and frustration later. I’d also highly recommend using a drill with an Allen bit because doing everything by hand would take forever. Once I got into the rhythm of it though, the installation process became much smoother. What really stood out to me after it was finished was how sturdy and durable it feels. It does not feel flimsy or cheap once fully assembled. The materials feel solid, the design is unique, and it has a really nice look to it that stands out without being overly flashy. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t overwhelm the room, but it still offers a surprising amount of storage space. We’ve been using it for organizing toys, smaller household items, and general clutter, and it works great for keeping things looking neat and organized For the price, I honestly think it’s a good value considering the size, storage capacity, and how solid it feels once built. It definitely requires patience during assembly, but the finished product feels like something that will hold up well for years instead of needing replaced after a short time.. Nestor. Assembly wasn't to difficult, but did take about 4 hours to put it together by myself. Hardest part was getting the bed slats that go under the mattress to line up with both sides of the frame to go into the holes, but once you figure it out it's smooth sailing. Overall, very solid and sturdy. Stairs are a nice touch over a ladder and the little shelf cubbies make a good place for small stuff. The space underneath is a perfect fit for a 78" couch. The quality of this bed is very sturdy but man…the build was intense. It look my husband and I 12 hours to get this thing built, although we did have to take off the ceiling fan and install a flush light during this time. It arrived in three large boxes and the instructions were a little confusing. Overall my son is obsessed with it and will hopefully enjoy it for many years. Updated Review - the manufacturer reached out regarding the defects and has made a commitment to make it right. The bed itself barring the obvious damage on arrival went together okay. It was a time consuming build, and the instructions werent as clear as they could have been. I had a ticketed carpenter friend assist in the build and it still took about 4 hours. Set aside the time. However, open them all up and organize them first it’ll make life much easier. My only criticism is that I wish every part was labeled, as it could make some parts questionable about their placement. This is a great bed. It was time-consuming to assemble but not hard or confusing. I love the stairs as opposed to a ladder because it’s much safer, and it also has the additional storage underneath the stairs. The desk is a good size and there are many outlets available for all different cords. The LED lights are really fun and they’re bright, but they do not stick very well, and I had to use almost all of the Velcro straps in order to secure the lights all around the bed. I sifted through tons of reviews on different loft beds and after a couple of months of thinking on it, decided to pull the trigger on this one. I’m so glad I did! Despite being made of particle board style wood, it is actually very sturdy. There are tons of screws and lots of support for each piece. I put it together myself and it took several hours over the course of 3 days. The instructions were pretty clear for the most part. The only thing I don’t like is how close to the ceiling it is, however that’s my fault for not measuring. If I had taller ceilings it would be perfect! I am 5’3” and can stand underneath with my head only slightly tilted downward, so there is a good amount of space underneath. My 8-year-old son absolutely loves it. If your child is on the cusp of a growth spurt and you have average-height ceilings then I would maybe not get this one because of how tall it is. But otherwise I would highly recommend it!. Tori.
