Fairly easy to put together love the slat support for the mattress. It is quite low, so we added a 5” box spring which added support raised it a bit. It is solid wood, but I’d say not strong enough if you have an active child who would jump on the bed. We are using in our vacation home, so it is plenty sturdy for that.. Charlene. Tue Sep 29 2026

Nice frame, takes time to install if you do it yourself. it took me about 2 hours to finish by myself. Looks good. Bed slats could be done a bit thicker or stiffer. They seem not strong for me, seems very likely for bending (especially if a kid jumps). One slat came with a crack and had a problem during installation. overall happy (except the crack slat).. It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. It was such a savings to put it together myself then to purchase one in a furniture store. I purchased the grey version which is a soft hazy color.. Melissa. Hubbardston, MA. Wed Jun 17 2026

Whether it's your kiddo's room or a smaller guest room, this twin bed is sure to bring an updated, unique look to any space.

Overall a nice looking, sturdy bed. The wood frame is very smooth without rounded edges. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. My two complaints are 1) the back of the headboard is not upholstered. We do not have it up against the wall and so would have preferred it to be upholstered on both sides, like the footboard 2) the gap between the top of the mattress and the bottom of the headboard is large enough that the pillow falls out, even with a 10” mattress. Again, this issue is really only apparent because we do not have the headboard against the wall.. Alexis. VA. Mon Sep 14 2026

Just get the appropriate mattresses (sold separately), and you're good to go.

My 10 year old has the top bunk and my 2 year old has the bottom.. while it is a beautiful bed, I will say that when my 10 year old at 110 pounds moves around you can definitely feel movement and wobbling from below, but there is a steel bar that runs underneath the top bunk that reassures me that it is secure. It took us a about 3 hours to build, just make sure that the headboard and footboard are in the right facing position bc we had to redo ours. I also will note that the headboard and footboard slats dont fit in snuggly and are wobbly. Pine wood is a softer wood and I am already aware of some dings and dents but am still happy that this is not an MDF product so should hope last still for some years. Overall, still a better price point than big box stores and the value is there for us and our family. Would recommend knowing that its not perfect but functional.. Kerisah. Matthews, NC. This bed is made of quality materials. Its very sturdy and the kiddos love it. My issue is with the quality of the direction! It was hard to decipher the tiny diagrams and arrows pointing in every direction. We had to take it apart and rearrange it in the beginning. Once you get the desk together it gets much easier to construct.. Bridget. Greensboro, NC. Mon Sep 28 2026
