Delivery was awesome. I’m an elderly petite woman. My FedEx delivery guy was most helpful bringing the heavy boxes in. When my husband got home we turned on some music and worked on assembling it together. The instructions were precise and it went well. It is well made and sturdy. I went to Marshall’s and found the right color of blue bedding to match. Sorry Wayfair, but I didn’t want to take a chance on ordering on line. I wanted to see the colors before purchasing. There’s so many variations of blue. I’m very pleased with my purchase. I have bought many items from Wayfair and have been overall satisfied. My girlfriend just bought a loveseat and recliner from Wayfair because of my raving of how satisfied I am. She said that during Labor Day weekend she shopped at the local furniture stores and was told delivery would be 2-4 weeks. Mine was 2 days. I spoke with her last evening and she already purchased from Wayfair and was waiting for her son to help assemble it!. Lynn. Tampa, FL. Sun Sep 13 2026

It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. It was such a savings to put it together myself then to purchase one in a furniture store. I purchased the grey version which is a soft hazy color.. Melissa. Hubbardston, MA. Wed Jun 17 2026

Bring timeless sophistication to your bedroom with the Florio Solid Wood Platform Bed with Footboard and Trundle. Blending classic craftsmanship with modern comfort, the Richmond features a smooth, arched headboard with Mission-inspired slats for a look that’s both warm and refined. Built from solid hardwood and veneers, this bed delivers exceptional durability and style. The trundle, neatly tucked beneath the frame, glides out easily from either side to provide extra sleeping space for guests. With a supportive slat system, the Florio is mattress-ready and does not require a box spring or foundation. Available in Espresso, White, Walnut, Grey, and Light Toffee finishes and in Twin XL, Twin, Full, Queen, and King sizes, this bed offers the perfect fit for any room.

This bed arrives in four separate packages. One of the boxes is over 80 lb and will require additional assistance to move for average homeowner. The side rails as well as footboard come fully assembled out of the box. The headboard requires the side legs to be attached but this process is very simple. The support rails for the bed are extremely flimsy and using this bed as a trundle will not allow you vertical support to stop the mattress from sagging in the middle over time. Dinged a star for that. The trundle portion comes in its own separate box of the four and requires complete assembly which is very straightforward. Two of the threaded nuts that come pre-installed were missing in the holes allowing me no way to attach screws so I had to get creative as this is something the average homeowner might struggle with. The cracked wood is my fault for not predrilling. As a bonus the side rails of the bed have the mattress supports glued prior to painting and I'm including photos of the lumps of glue which are not a big deal but nice to know that the rails are physically glued as well as screwed. The trundle face came with 2 dents but my kids will do way worse in time. I would recommend this bed as it can be used stand alone, with a trundle, with the rails lowered for easier access, and also used with an existing box spring and metal frame.. Justin. Loxahatchee. This bed has many amazing features and looks beautiful in pictures, which is why we bought it. We bought 2 beds, and the materials for both beds were packed mixed up all together across boxes that came over multiple days. We did not know this would happen, so when 3/6 boxes arrived, we assumed it would be one of the beds. We had parts strewn about our house and garage for days waiting for the additional parts to arrive. When they finally all arrived, some of the parts were horrible quality for the price (more like sturdy cardboard instead of wood). More than that, some of the parts were damaged. Some were cracked, cracked easily when moving them, and some looked like they had previously cracked and were glued together. We ended up returning it all. Do not waste your time on this poor quality mess!. Melanie. Madison, WI. Thu Sep 17 2026
