Used this today for the first time. I never used one before. Takes getting use to but works great. Cooked my sons burgers well. You must center the pan on the unit first, otherwise it will display a u like symbol and turn off. So make sure magnetic pan is on the unit and then power on. Also I love the H it displays when cooling off to let you know the unit is still Hot. I purchased out of laziness. Tired of cleaning the entire stove just to make burgers or whatever...lol. its easier to wipe down the counter and clean the unit. Does not show any signs of heat at the bottom so it is safe to use on countertops. I might just get a silicone mat anyway. Overall I love it and will play with it more.. Keisha. Corona, NY. Nice Stove. It boils 1 cup of water in 2:18 min. There is a temperature setting in only Celsius. I don’t understand why or what it’s used for. The stove settings range from 1-9 and it has a timer to turn off the burner . Comes with a nice magnet to test if the pots are conductive. It must have a conductive pot on the burner before you can turn it on. (Nice safety feature) I think this is a good buy for the money.. Steve. Pennsylvania. Fri Nov 01 2024

The cooktop works great, but I wanted induction. When I searched products by using the filters, this electric one was in the list. My fault for not double checking before I bought. The electric cooktop works great and heats food very quickly, but the surface is extremely hot, which is dangerously close to where my grandchildren sit at the counter. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We added this 24" induction cooktop into the very small kitchen of our new construction vacation home, as a green alternative to installing another Bosch gas burner cooktop like we've been using at home for the past 15 years. We cook A LOT, and we're a longtime Bosch family, and even though it's taking some getting used to cooking on induction vs. open flame, in general we're loving this appliance because it fits our limited available space, it's very intuitive to use, and it's super-easy to clean! On "con" = we find we're having to be extra-careful not to drag heavy pots across the cooktop (as we'd gotten used to doing on the very rugged cast iron grate of our gas cooktop at home) - this induction cooktop surface definitely feels more "delicate" than our gas cooktop grate. But other than having to change this old behavior, we're overall very happy!. Berkshires Bosch Lover. Tue Jan 06 2026
