I LOVE our new GE induction range. I have to admit, I was pretty uncertain about how I would feel about the change. The thing that bothered me the most was that my favorite skillet would no longer work well on the induction range. My husband purchased a beautiful cast iron skillet that I now love just as much. The range itself really does heat instantly. It can boil tap water in about a minute -- crazy! It is as easy to control as a gas range. The only down side of the range is on one side there are two burners that can be tethered together and operated together for a large pan - think rectangular pancake skillet. This feature is dumb because while the range top has markings indicating there would be even heating on the entire side of the range, including between the burners, that does not happen and you just have two separate hot spots on one large pan. I don't know why they did this. As to the oven, it is spacious -- you could definitely do a turkey. One of the racks pulls out of the oven, which is great. This means when you are doing something heavy or something you need to baste frequently, you don't have to lift it out of the oven -- you just pull out the rack. I like all of the features including the air frier. I should note that this is difficult to initially set up because the air frier will only work via an app on your phone. This means you need to set it up with wifi and that was pretty complicated. Once done, it's done forever (I hope!). The oven does not heat instantly like the range or like a gas range, but it also does not take as long as our old range. I feel like it takes about 12 - 13 minutes to heat up to 450, for example. The heat is even. I haven't used the self cleaning feature, but am glad it exists. I am also pleased with the storage drawer under the oven. It is large and easy to pull out.. Mary In Nor Cal. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Range is an excellent choice for a 36 in gas range. It has 6 burners that can be adjusted from full on all the way down to a simmer. The 6 burners have a great ratio of large, medium, and small burners ti fit any pot size you have. The rapid boil feature on the large burners is amazing! I’ve never gotten water to boil this fast ever on any range I have had in the past! I haven’t used all of the many oven settings yet. I have used the bake, convention bake, broiler , slow roast, air fryer, and convection roast. All worked amazingly! I haven’t used the self-cleaning feature yet, but if it is as good as the cooking modes, it will be just fine. The digital display is very nice, it walks you through every step for each cooking mode. The burner knobs also light up when a burner is on. The love range appearance, it is very nice, My only complaint about this range, is it only comes with one oven rack glide. If you don’t have glides on each level you can set an oven rack, the rack will not be able to slide out. If you try, the rack just drops down to the open oven door. I had to order a couple more to add to my oven and they are pricey. The oven should come with slides for each rack level in the oven. To me It’s a safety issue. I especially appreciate the largest "power" burner (front right) for getting things boiling so quickly! The oven is spacious and preheats quicker than my previous gas oven. I haven't used the air fry oven feature yet, but I am looking forward to using it in the near future and possibly getting rid of my counter top air fryer and getting back more counter space. The stove top is very streamlined. These stove top grates will fit in my dishwasher, saving me from hand washing them. It's beautiful. I'm new to induction, so it's weird, so far, but I think that's about induction technology, not this stove. One super tiny complaint is the screws they give to put the black metal backsplash on are silver, so if your stove is in an island & you see the back of your stove, the screws stand out & look cheap. Love this stove! I have wanted a gas stove for a while now. We got this and had the gas line hooked up. I love the way it looks in my kitchen. The burners look great and it has 5 of them. The one on the front right is a double burner. The middle one can be used with a griddle but you will have to buy that separately. The oven heats up very fast and I love the one rack that extends out so you don't have to pull the rack out to check your food. You can do it right there. It cooks very evenly and I have had no problems. To set the oven temp you use one of the nobs, this is different for me and will take some getting used to but not terrible, just different.
