it is very roomy. a little noisy - is a comment on this. not hooking it for ice, will need to request a plug where filter would go and turn ice off ( way in back of freezer). watch temp- freezes at 40!. Diane. New Ashford, MA. Wed May 13 2026

Samsung Bottom Mount Freezer refrigerator is specifically designed for smaller spaces. Offers a space-saving solution and great style that blends beautifully into your kitchen, while the fingerprint-resistant finish withstands everyday smudges.

It is a sharp looking little refrigerator! I thought it might be too small, but the way it is organized with drawers and shelves gives you a much more efficient use of space than a typical refrigerator. You have a lot more at eye level since the freezer is below. Going with a smaller refrigerator gave me more counter space.. Tim. Hightstown, NJ. Thu Jun 29 2023

Got this GE fridge to replace an old GE Profile that finally died. Loved that fridge! This is level down, due to not wanting to spend so much money. It was delivered today, so not sure about the actual function. Few things though that your engineers or designers should think about. My husband is very handy and decided to hookup the water line himself. Problem is the piece that you have to insert the copper water line to is very short, and initially leaked. Also, on door with water/ice, the shelf maybe should have a well built there to catch dripping water or any excess ice. Just 2 initial thoughts so far. I'm hoping to love this one as much as I did my old one... we'll have to see. Quick update: yes, you need to add a well or lip to ice/water fixture. I went to try out the ice 2 days later, it grinned for at least a minute before actually dispensing ice, then it shot out like a bat. Had ice all over the floor due to my glass not being able to hold the amount dispensed. I'm not sure what the problem or answer is.. Lucypearl289. New Jersey. Fri Aug 21 2026

So far, so good. It is so nice to have a refrigerator that is counter depth but is still just 28 inches wide. GE appliances and Wayfair did a great job getting me the refrigerator to me on time and in good condition. The refrigerator is new; so, there is no way to know how it will hold up over the long term, but it is quiet and working as it it should now. I am a happy customer.. Kathleen. Redlands, CA. Keep food fresh with this 11.9 cu. ft. GE Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator. Its countertop depth design provides a built-in look while still giving you a compact 24" width. Store up to 5 bottles with The Bottle Storage Rack, this rack also conveniently folds up when not in use for extra storage. Also, a Quickspace Shelf provides room for those tall items by simply sliding back.

I have an odd space and needed a counted depth refrigerator. There are no others in the market that are counter depth that make use of the height unless it's custom and you want to spend $5k plus. It was cold in record time and I am thrilled.. Dianne. Miami, FL. Wed Dec 24 2025

This is a nice refrigerator. I wish it came with a meat drawer and a pull out freezer door. Other than that the sale price was right and I am happy. I like the fact I can hear it running. My LG was too quiet, I kept checking to make sure it was working. I loved it but paid for three repairs. Freezer went out and spoiled all my food so I said enough I will try this GE. So far so good!. Ordered this is dark grey and it is absolutely perfect. Its by chance that I found this because we had already ordred one from a big box store that was delayed on the shipping for six months. I was so frustrated and started to look elsewhere. We were limited because the custom cabinets were already installed and there was no way we were going to pull them out. Then I found this fridge. I was concerned because it wasn't a known brand that I knew but am thrilled! The handles are perfect for my mother in law who has arthritis and easy to open. Hydration just got a serious upgrade with GE Appliances Refrigeration. Our redesigned Side-by-Sides have an extra tall, 11-inch water dispenser, so there’s no more tilting and spilling just to get your favorite water bottle to fit. Additional features take organization to the next level: adjustable shelves help fit tall items wherever you need them, wide shelves accommodate half baking sheets, an in-door icemaker creates freezer shelf space, and extra-large door bins help fit everyone in the family’s groceries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE counter depth side by side refrigerator has excellent capacity. It has adjustable glass shelves which I really like and it has on the refrigerated side two big bins for things like your produce and your vegetables and fruits. The freezer side has a really good capacity ice maker that holds quite a bit of ice in it which is so much better than most refrigerators freezers. But one of my favorite features is the extra tall ice and water dispenser on the outside of the refrigerator. I have the big tall 40 oz insulated mugs and it fits perfectly underneath the dispenser. The doors on the refrigerator have lots of capacity to hold all your favorite condiments and the freezer also has room for storage underneath the ice maker plus the shelves Within. Overall this is an excellent refrigerator at a very good price with the beautiful stainless steel exterior. It's very easy to clean and so far has been pretty resistant to fingerprints. It consistently keeps the temperatures that you set for the refrigerator and the freezer and with kids opening and shutting the doors constantly I would have to say it is a very durable Appliance. I just love this especially like I say the ice maker with its huge capacity and then this water on the door dispenser being taller than the average refrigerator has been so nice no more dropping ice all over the floor.. Regarding Lisa from San Jacinta California’s earlier comment, #1 on my fridge is the coldest. The instructions say #3 is best for “normal use”. I keep mine between #2 & 3, and all good. No freezing eggs or daily defrosting. Apparently in China they reverse the order of hot/cold numbering. That happened on an iron I bought once. It took a while to figure out what was coolest or hottest, cuz there were numbers, not fabric types, like what we’re used to from US products.. Patricia. New York, NY. Wed Jul 29 2026
