Really well-wrapped in plastic wrap, Styrofoam and a full cardboard cover. Took me an hour to unwrap! It appears to be up on a Styrofoam pallet. Not sure how I will be able to remove that. This is a nice refrigerator. I wish it came with a meat drawer and a pull out freezer door. Other than that the sale price was right and I am happy. I like the fact I can hear it running. This refrigerator replaced a 22 year old Artica GE Side by Side. I had kept the Artica going for all these years, but got tired of the defrost heater burning out what I consider to be too often? I purchased OEM one's, but the last one lasted about 14 months and it was a GE one. Don't know why they don't last any better? Anyway said goodbye to the old girl that served us pretty well for those 22 years. The ice maker had failed and had developed an internal leak I could not find and fix, so we lived without that for several of it's last years. Now, this new one is HUGE at 28.3 The old one was about 25 cu. ft. Actually, I hated the dark tunnel of the Artica Side by Side. Could not find things back in there! This new one is great from that standpoint with the lighted back panel, you can see everything in there. Like the convertible part and the drawers in the freezer section. I've read that the ice makers in GE refrigerators are troublesome compared to other brands? I hope it is trouble free, but all of that is unknown just after purchase and setup. The old Artica was built like a tank. The shelving was sturdy. This new one has shelving and door trays that are a bit less robust. I hope they stand up as well as the old Profile Artica? It's a pretty fridge, but the ERR code won't go away after I replaced the H2O filter. I used a GE specific filter as suggested, tried shutting off power, reinstalled filter 3 x's. I’m still moving into my place but I needed a fridge that was narrow and this is perfect. I love the look and the inside looks more spacious than I expected. The fridge gets five stars. Wayfair gets zero. This was the most painful delivery process imaginable. When you order you get a delivery window with the information that you can specify what day you want it delivered once the order is processed. When that time came, I went online and chose my delivery day as the one they initially provided me was before I’d be moved into my new house. Everything seemed fine until I got text messages about it being delivered the original day. I went online again to see why it reverted back and I couldn’t even get to the page without it crashing. Same on the app. Customer service was awful. I finally talked to someone from their large parcel delivery team who was super friendly and help me reschedule again, confirming with me that I was all set. Until the original date comes around I start getting text messages about it being on its way and to reply to the text if there’s an issue. Of course there’s an issue, I’ve rescheduled more than once now. Replying back as instructed of course did nothing. I finally talked to the delivery people and told them I don’t live there yet and that I’ve rescheduled more than once, they were great and basically echoed how horrible this company is to deal with. So now I’m at a point where I have to wait for them to put it in as undeliverable and reschedule, though of course my original date I had confirmed twice is no longer available so book it for two days later than desired. This day finally comes around and I am tracking the delivery online and everything looks okay. Wouldn’t you know it, Wayfair calls me and says they’re calling to confirm that I’ve requested to reschedule for another five days later! I don’t even know where they pulled that BS from but I was like look, it’s out for delivery and if it doesn’t make it here I’m just returning it and going somewhere else, it’s not worth it at this point. The delivery guys did show up and were great, and like the others from the week before echoed that they’re not surprised by the miserable customer service and ordering process.
