I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. Shelves are a tiny bit less deep than the last refrigerator, but it’s not too much of a problem. It’s working, keeps the food safe, and is very attractive. This refrigerator is very stylish. We bought a counter depth.They are smaller but this one is very well appointed. The drawers slide so nice. Has a Deli drawer and a Butter keeper. Which most refrigerators no longer have. Helps to keep everything organized.The freezer has 2 drawers and really nice wire shelves on the door that bend out. I ride Ducati motorcycles. Live alone, so no need for a refrigerator with massive storage volume, nor the wasted space an ice maker takes up, nor access through the door. Such a clean look with thermostat viewing only. Counter depth of course is what I like most. Refrigerators that protrude 34" of more into the kitchen's floor plan are not just obtrusive, and in the way, but ugly....especially when the cabinet upper is so far back to be unreachable.. Richard.
