This is exactly the hood range that I was looking for. I needed one that did not need to be ducted outside so it needed to be recirculating, and I had a hard time finding one in black and in the size that I needed which was 30 inches. Luckily Wayfair had exactly what I needed. Unfortunately I have to wait a few weeks before the electrician could come in to do the work but I wanted to get the review posted. I am sure it will fit perfectly and do exactly what I needed to do. Linda. Charlton, NY. Mon Aug 24 2026

The 27.75-inch built-in/insert range hood is made of stainless steel with high durability. Gesture sensing technology, free your hands, using gestures to control the fan speeds.

I didn’t install it yet, but looking forward to it. Seems there are some venting rules that need to be addressed. I had to improvise to install vent hood. Ended up having to set hood on top of hole cut out. The cabinet that was there didn’t allow for the bracing to be installed not enough room to screw into the side of the appliance. But I love it. The remote has to be very close to appliance to work. The wave on and off is awesome.. Tcal. US. Fri Jun 16 2023

Gesture sensing control technology, if your hands get greasy with cooking, just sweep one hand across 2 sensing spots to control fan speeds without touching the range hood. It also comes with a remote control.
