The Scirocco Lux downdraft hood is positioned next to the cooktop to ensure efficient extraction. The integrated LED light bar illuminates the cooking area, enhancing visibility and convenience. The Scirocco Lux features a reversible motor box, allowing it to fit seamlessly behind a range top, cooktop, or cooktop/oven combo. This is ideal for island installations where an overhead canopy would be obstructive or wall installations where cabinet space is at a premium.

The innovative downdraft system is compatible with virtually all self-contained cooktops. Sleek, trim styling complements any cooktop style or color. Automatically raises into position with the touch of a button. Disappears flush with the cooktop surface. Space-saving design lets you make the most of precious, under-counter cabinet space. The front access panel allows easy cleaning.

Great downdraft vent! Rises high enough to pull most smoke and steam away from all pans, much of it from the front burners, but the back burners are a no-brainer - nothing escapes, especially when the fan is turned to high. Fan control is smoothly variable from almost silent to roaring hurricane strength. Recommend that you use a large diameter vent to the outside to prevent back pressure (we have a 6" adapted down at the fan). The up/down limit switch is easily adjustable, and is covered when adjustment is finalized, so (kids) cannot tweak it for us. Great purchase and we are very happy with it.. James. Orefield, PA. 5" Side-mounted telescopic downdraft vent. The hood can be mounted next to any freestanding or slide-in range.

I love it, so far. It's been three days, so time will tell the real story.. Keith. Olympia Fields, IL. Sun Jul 23 2017

Automatically raises into position with the touch of a button. Disappears flush with the cooktop surface. Space-saving design lets you make the most of precious, under-counter cabinet space. Infinitely adjustable speed control is flush with the side of the unit; inconspicuous, yet easy to reach and simple to use. The blower discharges right, left, or down and slides side-to-side to ease installation (insufficient space for built-in ovens). The front access panel allows easy cleaning.

The product arrived late due to "weather" however there was no weather issues along the route. Once it arrived the package was severely damaged. There were loose screws floating around and the styrofoam used to support hood was busted and no longer protecting the unit. We have not installed the unit yet to see if it functions but there were minor metal pieces bent. The pieces bent looking salvageable so hopefully it works once installed. I usually have better luck with shipping from Wayfair.. Amanda. Olympia, WA. Wed Dec 14 2022
