Great hood once they sent me replacement grease baffles. There was a loud high-pitched wailing sound with the original baffles. When I called to complain the agent wasn't surprised. Immediately said he would send out an upgraded pair of grease baffles. Why didn't the hood come with them in the first place if the company knows the stock baffles make a horrible noise??. Lorraine. Really nice! Love the buttons and the fan is pretty quiet. Impressed! It’s perfect since I wanted to build my own range hood around it using bricks. I've had this for 5 months now. We needed a range hood that was at least 600 CFM and didn't have to get a bank loan to buy. This received great reviews from here and other websites, but Wayfair had the best deal. It has 3 speeds. The sound level is between 1.8 – 6.5 sones. I keep it on low most of the time which is very quiet. The highest speed is loud, but it's not annoying and you can still talk over it.
