It is BEAUTIFUL! I am remodeling my home. I had a set of headbangers above my stove and I just wanted them gone. I found this one bc I had to have a free-hanging vent and it is PERFECT. I am not sure what all they had to do to install it, but they did great. It's not real quiet, but I don't use that part much. Love this hood. It looks very professional and clean. My favorite part is the solid panel instead of a grate/mesh panel. The lights are nice and bright. Very sturdy/substantial not flimsy at all. I ordered the 36" for a 30" cooktop which worked perfectly. The smaller size would have looked too small. Great value Very nice unit for the price Had to do some adjustments, only because it was more practical for me to use the existing chimney/base.
