Glad I found this UC-B018. I bought it over the other makers/name brands for my little studio because it was sturdy, came with both a top and rear venting option, and had a plug so the unit was ready to plug in w/o hiring an electrician. The light is amazing, as you can see in my brief video. Design of the whole unit is sleek. Given how great the first one was, I just ordered a second one for my larger home.. Suzannehummingbird. So far its great! We have had it installed (husband did it with his friend) for about 1 month. It is fairly quiet but really powerful on the highest level. Ive noticed. I haven't even had to use the highest level yet. The light is super bright. I wish there was more than one level to the light though. It was fairly easy and straightforward to unstall. The problem we had was our vent hole was smaller than the stencil overlay so we didnt know what to do initially. We figured it out, had to cut the hole! It worked out. So far we are very happy with it. We have open concept kitchen and smells do not float upstairs anymore! That was my major qualm with the over ranger microwave hood. All the smells would float upstairs. Now I dont have that issue!. Sandy. Rio Rancho, NM. Fri Jul 24 2026

Installed and sticks out more than what the measurements showed. The bearing is cheap in the fan so it is already slowing down and making weird noises when I turn it on. Not impressed at all. Elise. Wed Jul 31 2024

Breeze I sets the industry value standard with its sophisticated features and performance. This vent hood looks very sleek and nice in my kitchen. The logo is actually underneath so it looks good. The multiple speeds for the fan work well and I like the lighting choices (off, soft, or bright). Would definitely recommend.. Tamara. Mead, WA. Fri Dec 22 2017
