This is an awesome Z-Line hood unit especially at the Wayfair purchase price. The first one I received had a metal rubbing of a fan blade, reached out to Z-line, sent a video explaining the situation. I was advised a new replacement was already on its way, in a blink of an eye. NO fuss at all. Not having an actual island in my kitchen, I installed it above my Bertazonni stove, away from the wall. The placement made the corner look bigger, very airy, and receive many compliments. I have seen many island hoods but this one actually has the controls on both sides of the unit, making it unique. The 4 lights pivot, allowing light to be were most needed. The motor is very powerful, and does the job it's intended to do. I ordered the matching crown molding for a finished professional look. Highly recommend this unit to everyone!. Kelly. Greensboro, NC. Thu Feb 03 2022

The hood looks nice and works great and I love that the controls are located on both sides of the hood. When the hood first arrived I pulled everything out to check for dents and didn’t see any but once we went to install it a long time after there was a dent that can really only be noticed at the right angle. After waiting months to have my kitchen back I didn’t want tot have to take it down and wait for a new one so I’m living with a dented hood. Packaging wasn’t the best and there was other small scratches that are hardly noticeable. Otherwise I’d give this 5 stars.. Kaitlin. Eureka, CA. Mon Jul 20 2020

Great price and size for our island range. Still waiting for installation so no more feedback. Robert. Seattle, WA. Thu Jan 28 2021

The 42" Fabriano 600 CFM Convertible Island Range Hood in Stainless Steel is a beautiful combination of glass and stainless steel in a modern design. The hand-blown curved glass allows plenty of natural light to filter down to the cooking surface.

We absolutely love our new island range hood. The black stainless steel with the curved tinted glass compliments our newly remodeled kitchen perfectly. It has 5 different exhaust settings, but honestly, the second lowest setting is the highest setting we've needed to use. And it is a relatively quiet setting. It works exactly as it should. It starts getting a little loud at the fourth setting. My one complaint would be the lights. They started out as being fairly bright but quickly faded to a very, very dim light...and we haven't mistakenly left the lights on or anything. Once we replace them with brand new light bulbs, hopefully they will remain bright for a longer period of time than these did. Installation was definitely a challenge; we had a few obstacles to overcome, but nothing we couldn't adapt to. And with the install complete, we could consider our kitchen remodel complete and we have been enjoying using the range hood immensely.. Lori. US. Sat May 30 2026

The vent is nice but all the internal wiring is not securely fastened. I am planing to secure as all the fasteners in the hood have become unglued. I still give it a 4 as I believe that regardless zline is good value!. Daniel. Montreal, QC. Mon Dec 21 2020
