Very impressive range hood for our mini kitchen remodel. We just had this installed by an electrician friend - took him about 2 hours, but that’s because our old one was not a plug in and he had to drill a couple holes in our cabinet. The fan works great and the lights are nice and bright. The fan is a tad loud but I don’t mind because it works so much better than our old one. It’s heavy, make sure you have someone helping to hold it up. Great look in our kitchen - now to add a backsplash!. Erin. Vero Beach, FL. Fri Jul 31 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very sleek. I luv the style. Suction odor n smoke very well. Operating it with just your hand is a plus plus with me. With all that being said, it is very loud. Beyond level 3, the sound is unbearably loud. It was supposed to be one of the quietest one in the market and that is misleading. The light source is so weak that i can barely see what I am cooking without turning on all the lights in my kitchen. The other thing is trying to understand the manual, though it was written in English also, I could barely understand some of it. A lot of guess work when reading the instruction. Price is not cheap but it does the work getting rid of smoke and odor, so far. I dont regret buying it because I think the performance is solid but if they dont improve the sound n the light source...would I buy another one? UnfortunatelyI hv to say no.. One Who Cooks A Lot. DuraMount Wall Mount Range Hood Insert in Stainless Steel (683-34) combines powerful ventilation with a patented mounting design that brings attainable luxury to any custom kitchen layout. Featuring reinforced triangle supports with staggered, overlapping mounting points, DuraMount is purposefully designed to hit studs in standard 16-inch spacing, ensuring a stud-stabilized fit every time—without additional bracing—that delivers precision-engineered alignment and professional performance designed for real homes.

We cook every day, so I did not want a mesh screen like my previous vent hood. I knew I also wanted physical push buttons rather than touch controls. I have a 30 inch gas range and the ZLINE 721-34 vent hood checked every box for me at a price that was hard to beat. Look at my photo, the lights are adjustable, I must have missed that in my research but that is AWESOME! It pulls smoke and grease very well. When I'm searing I run it on high, but otherwise I keep it on low or medium. Running it on high while I sear beats having the house smell like dinner and grease traveling everywhere. Very happy with my choice. It was a much needed upgrade.. Sizzle Wizard. Mon Sep 28 2026

This is an awesome Z-Line hood unit especially at the Wayfair purchase price. The first one I received had a metal rubbing of a fan blade, reached out to Z-line, sent a video explaining the situation. I was advised a new replacement was already on its way, in a blink of an eye. NO fuss at all. Not having an actual island in my kitchen, I installed it above my Bertazonni stove, away from the wall. The placement made the corner look bigger, very airy, and receive many compliments. I have seen many island hoods but this one actually has the controls on both sides of the unit, making it unique. The 4 lights pivot, allowing light to be were most needed. The motor is very powerful, and does the job it's intended to do. I ordered the matching crown molding for a finished professional look. Highly recommend this unit to everyone!. Kelly. Greensboro, NC. Fri Feb 04 2022
