Suction on this vacuum is awesome but it is so strong that it sucks up our thinner carpets. We have a large oriental rug and this vacuum works well on it. Our problem is that we have several thinner runners and the vacuum sucks them into the mechanism, clogging the brush. Our runners are in the process of being destroyed by this vacuum. I called customer service about the problem but they had no workarounds. We will now have to buy another, smaller vacuum to clean our runners.. Ron. Chicago, IL. Sun Sep 24 2023
