I’ve read reviews that it kicks out a lot of heat but in reality my laundry room gets just as warm as with my old vented dryer. It does take slightly longer to dry heavy clothes. I have the drain tube hooked up, which is much less of a process than I thought it would be, super simple. We have been very happy with the dryer so far. Hopefully it stays that way for a long time.. We've had this dryer for a year now. We bought it with the matching washer. Dryer works well, much less lint than our old dryer. The setting that is most helpful is the 18-minute fast dry.
