Well I have it out of the box the reason for this purchase was I have tall ceilings and I needed a exhaust fan that I didn’t have to figure out how to get additional pieces or have to build down from the ceiling to close the gap. This fan assembly fit that bill it’s also a rental property and so I didn’t want a glass unit even though I have one like that and like it a lot this unit is more “renter friendly” and safe no ones going to break it..
