Between my dog that sheds and tracks dirt in and toddler on the move, I reach for this tool constantly. What I love most is how it vacuums and mops at the same time. Between dog hair, spilled snacks, and random sticky spots (thanks, toddler), I used to have to vacuum and then go back with a mop. Now it’s one pass and done, which saves a ton of time and energy. I find I am also less annoyed at cleaning messes now because I no longer have to take out an army of cleaning supplies, just the Bissel Crosswave Edge and the job is done in a few quick seconds. It handles pet hair really well on hard floors, and the mopping function actually scrubs up dried-on messes instead of just pushing them around. That’s been huge for things like juice, yogurt, or muddy paw prints. The cordless design is another big win. I can quickly grab it for a 5-minute cleanup after meals or let the toddler run around without dragging a cord everywhere. It’s easy enough that I actually clean more often instead of letting messes pile up. Vacuum cleaners!! We can’t seem to find what works best for us. But after much frustration and research we decided on this one. So far, so good. We’ve only used it a couple of times so far so I cannot speak to longevity or reliability, but it works well. It was easy to put together. The removable parts are easy to take off and put back on. We love the 30 foot cord. On our first use, it was unbelievable how much dirt and hair it picked up. It was kind of disgusting to think our floor was that bad. Also, the two things this model has that the other models of the same series doesn’t have is the LED lights, which really seems to help and also a handheld attachment which has a rotating brush. I don’t even remember seeing that in the write up but it will be perfect for upholstery and curtains. We’re happy that we gave this brand a try. Hopefully it will prove to be dependable. Pro: Great wet vac! Did a much better job at stain removal than I expected. Oil based stain in my seat came completely out. Several winters of caked in mud and salt came right out of my floorboards, leaving them looking new. Easy to clean the vacuum when you're done using it. Con: The dry vac only seemed to be an afterthought. For a vacuum designed for a car it was clunky and didn't reach well under seats or in crevices. Did an ok job, but left a LOT behind. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roomba Plus vacuum and mop is what mom dreams are made of! I have an infant and 2 dogs that shed like crazy. This Roomba saves me SO much time cleaning. You can set different routines daily, every other day, once a week, whatever you want and you can have multiple different routines for different times. The app is extremely easy to navigate. I currently have 3 different routines programmed, one of which is daily. It can be programmed to vacuum, mop, or vacuum and mop at the same time. There are also multiple different settings for vacuum suctioning and mop settings. During mopping the mop pads come out so that it gets into corners and along the baseboards. I don’t even have to think about starting the Roomba because it automatically starts and redocks itself along with self emptying dirty water and emptying what is vacuumed up. The Roomba maps your house and goes in a pattern when cleaning so nothing is left untouched. It has sensors on it so it never runs into walls, furniture, etc. The app allows you to mark no go areas where the vacuum won’t ever go. It also allows you to do spot cleaning or request to clean specific rooms. If it is in the middle of a routine you can pause or end it. It is not very loud at all compared to the last robot vacuum I had. It is louder on carpet than it is on hardwood. The two things I have noticed which bother me are: 1. It will run over cords and does not notice/ does not stop. And 2. It does not alert you when the dock needs to be emptied so you just have to occasionally check.
