I love this hood. I couldn't find a black one in local stores, so I was happy to find this one. When it first arrived it was dented, but the manufacturer replaced it. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great! I have used this range hood in 4 different projects. A professional chef friend ordered two for her kitchen. They are quite powerful and quiet. Excellent quality range hood that looks far more expensive than it is. The stainless steel finish is clean and modern, installation was straightforward, and it runs much quieter than expected while still moving plenty of air. It has made a noticeable difference in keeping cooking odors and smoke under control. If you’re goin through a remodel be warned that the chimney was VERY dented and it took multiple attempts to get a chimney that was not dinged and dented, so you will want to open the box and check it thoroughly upon receipt.. I bought this to replace a very out of date range exhaust fan. This fan is AMAZING! The performance is better than I expected, even at speed level 2 it sucks out all the smoke/air and kicks it outside. No need to even use the top speed yet. The functions are simple with the easy to use touch controls. I would give this product 5 stars but I had to knock one star down because of the sprayed on vinyl used to cover the stainless steel filter baffles. It really took me 75 mins of peeling while almost ending up with a bloody thumb to take off the protective vinyl. I really would like to meet the braniac who thought that was a good idea.. Yd. Two halogen lights offer excellent task lighting and the touch sensitive keypad makes it a breeze to use.

I looked at wall mounted range hoods for a long time before remodeling my kitchen, and choosing this one (looked at CFM, different models, etc). Thus far, I am really happy with it! My HVAC guy felt the install instructions were clear, and he had no problem installing correctly. When I'm cooking, the draw is great, so it manages the smells and steam/smoke of cooking well, and the look is sleek and clean. The controls are touch, sometimes a bit finicky but digital screen is easy to read and figure out. It is a really nice range hood. I like the under cabinet design because I can use the cabinets on top of it and get more space. Plus the high cfm is great to clean the smells from kitchen.
