(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) COOKTOP: The cooktop is absolutely lovely and well made. It looks like a ceramic smooth top, but has the induction labels on each burner so you know it needs the appropriate cookware. All burners rapidly boil water within a minute with appropriately sized cookware. Dials work well with an initial press onward and clockwise turn to start the burner. Then you can just turn the dial to get to the desired temperature setting. Rapid boost is amazingly fast. Perfect for a rapid boil. When you turn the temperature down then it will immediately react with instant heat reduction. Each setting can be felt as you turn the dial so you know that you have the correct temperature setting. If you leave a burner on without any cookware then it will sound a gentle alarm to let you know to run it off. The burners will turn off automatically within a minute if you don’t put the cookware back on. You will then have to use the dial to turn it back on. This is a great safely and energy conserving feature that prevents burners from being left on after cooking is completed. Dials are smooth and large for hands that may have physical disabilities. Larger dials are easier to use with fingers and hands that have limitations. So the larger size is a great advantage in this way. The dials are well made. The induction cooktop surface is easy to clean. If it cools you can use a scraper designed for the surface and can use Cerambrite liquid as a cleaner. A microfibre cloth is perfect for keeping the surface clean and free if any debris. OPERATING PANEL: The operating panel is well made. It is easy to use and see at arms length. The clock is easy to set, and very visible and bright for nighttime. The panel will show a “burner on” during use, and “cooktop hot” during use and a little while after burners are turned off. Great for letting everyone know the cooktop is hot because there is no other way of knowing. Burners do cool down quite rapidly once turned off. All of the buttons on the panel are well labeled and easy to press. USER MANUAL/APP: I use the online manual as it has a search feature, but the physical copy is essential for those wanting to sit and read at leisure. The manual allows quick topic searches that save a lot of time. The app calle LG ThinQ is available to download if you are interested in smart features. The app walks you through the setup to get the range remote connected ti you home WiFi. OVEN: The light button for the oven is easy to apply when the oven door is closed. You can watch food bake inside the large illuminated oven. The light automatically comes on when you open the door, which is a nice safety feature. The oven is easy to use through the control panel. The oven has the bake, convection, and air fry settings. These are all very easy to use with the desired settings through the press of the panel buttons. The oven interior is very spacious, and there is a pull out storage drawer beneath the unit. MY IMPRESSION: My overall impression of this electric range oven is excellent. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very satisfied with this Frigidaire induction range. It is user friendly and intuitive. I would give it a 5 star review except for one issue. When turning on the power and setting the power of the heat, it doesn't respond well to touch. I have to touch it several times. I did read about this in reviews before I purchased the range and decided that nothing is perfect and so I bought it. And while the touch issue is a bit of annoyance, I still really like this range and everything else about it. I look forward to searing steaks and trying the pizza stone. It gave our kitchen a much more modern look, and I like the front controls and how easy the glass top is to keep clean. The oven has worked well, and I haven’t had any issues with baking. My only complaint is the cooktop when using cast iron. We cook with cast iron almost every day, and I noticed the heat doesn’t seem to spread as evenly as I expected. It’s not a deal breaker, but it was noticeable compared to other stoves I’ve used. If you mostly cook with stainless steel or nonstick pans, this probably won’t be an issue.
