Once it was installed, I connected the range to the SmartThings app. The app was able to connect the range right away thru my wifi. And once connected, It automatically set the time for me. The app is a great feature when you want to control the temperature, cooking modes, oven light and sounds from your phone. You can even have it sent notifications when the cooktop elements are on. However, your phone may ping often if you do a lot of cooking on the stove top. Also, what I really like about this range, is the precision knobs. My husband and I like the use of knobs for stove top cooking. And I definitely enjoy the air fry feature, which by the way came with a free basket for air frying. Also, with a convection oven such as this, baking would be faster and even. Also, the range uses circulated air when you’re roasting to cook the meat evenly. You can’t go wrong with this range.. Got a great deal on this during the President's Day sale and was able to take advantage of a sign up discount code. Delivery took about a week after completing the purchase. Delivery experience was excellent as they had brought it into my kitchen and after getting permission from their boss, was able to unpack the range and move it in front of where this new range was being installed in my kitchen. I installed this range, put everything together and the burners have been running great.
