I absolutely adore these barstools! I purchased them when we moved into our home six years ago, and I’m happy to say that we still use and love them today.
One thing that makes me especially impressed with these chairs is that they’ve survived six years with rambunctious kids. My children are not particularly gentle with furniture, and these chairs have been tipped over more than a few times. As a result, the backrests have loosened and slightly broken in a couple of spots over the years. Thankfully, we’ve been able to tighten everything back up with an Allen wrench, and they’ve remained perfectly usable.
The black legs have also accumulated a few chips and scuffs from daily family life, kids running into them, toys, and general wear and tear. However, after six years of heavy use, I still think they look fantastic.
One thing to note is that the seats are wood and have decorative grooves where crumbs and food can collect. It’s not a major issue, but you may occasionally need to wipe them out or vacuum the grooves to keep them clean.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend these barstools. They are stylish, durable, and have held up remarkably well in a busy household.
