I was very apprehensive about purchasing a bed online because it’s hard to know what you’re actually getting without seeing it in person. I’m happy to report that this king bed exceeded my expectations! The bed is made of real wood, which was important to me, and it feels incredibly sturdy. My husband assembled it in a couple of hours without any major issues. Once put together, there was absolutely no wobbling or creaking—it feels very solid and well-made. I did purchase a 2-inch box spring to provide additional support for our 14-inch mattress. Even with the box spring, there is still plenty of headboard visible, and the overall look is beautiful. The frame comes with four support slats, and each slat has two legs that extend to the floor for added stability and support. I was initially worried that the quality might be lacking or that the bed would feel rickety, but neither of those concerns turned out to be true. The craftsmanship appears to be very good, the bed is sturdy, and it looks fantastic in our bedroom. I would absolutely purchase this bed again and would confidently recommend it to others. I’m in love with the frame! I’ve had it a couple of months now and it’s holding well! It does come with wooden slats, to which I had to cover with a blanket because I was using an air mattress until my actual mattress came in and didn’t want to take any chances of it popping. I did have a different frame from Wayfair (the canopy frame which also held up wonderfully) but I’ve been eyeing this one (even before the canopy) and once I moved it was the perfect opportunity to snag it!
