Check out the new Awoco 30" Ceiling Insert Mount Split Quiet Range Hood with Voice, Gesture, Touch, Remote Controls, 800 CFM Kitchen Hood with 4-Speed Exhaust Fan, Stainless Steel Stove Hood with 6" Blower, LED Lights.

We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. Now if the TV or one of us saying something similar to "Hi Awoco" (prompt for commands) gets her talking we have a good chuckle.. Norma. Ware, MA. Sun Feb 15 2026

While not able to get it completely flush to the ceiling it stills looks great. We had to build a box to place it in so it wouldn’t hang too far down. It doesn’t block any views at all and operates really well. Very good air flow and power.. Malia. New Albany, IN. Sun Apr 05 2026

This is so amazing! Traded up from a 1993 hood. This is so quiet, but still powerful. The light is brighter. The hood is motion sensor, which is a little hard to get used to. But stays so much cleaner.. Lisa. Verona, WI. Wed Nov 20 2024
