We received our order. It looked on the line like it was a one solid piece of furniture when we got it. It was in a dozen or more pieces. That is not what we thought we were getting. Maybe I didn’t read it. Good enough I don’t know, and I just assume that all of these gas heaters had blowers Did not have one so now I’m stumped. How do I get a blower in that? The Tahoe 45ol outdoor linear gas fireplace has been built tough to weather whatever the elements can throw at it. This unit allows wood framing and can be installed without a surround, finishing material installed right up to the glass for a simplified modern look, or with the durable 3” stainless steel surround. The unit even comes with a stainless steel cover for protection when not in use. Tahoe 45ol comes with a rock and Black Onyx fire glass media, and a stainless steel frame.

Our Spark Ignition and Connection Kit will turn your manual ignition fire pit gas burner into an easy to start push button ignition. This battery operated igniter will cause a spark to ignite the gas when you depress the button, similar to your electronic ignition BBQ. The key to a good installation is the ground. You must screw igniter bracket solidly and directly to the burner pan. The stainless steel face plate will give you a professional mounting for both your push button as your chrome keyed shut off ball valve. I have not figured out what can be put back there to collect ashes. It will have to be a wide short metal bucket of some type. I think this should have been mentioned and provided or be for optional order. Then there is the ridiculous excuse for an owners/instruction manual. How hard would it have been to expand that just a little...for instance...I do not know what the lever in front underneath the firebox is for...I assume for dropping ash.......then there is the problem of .....is the back position closing up the ash drop, or is the forward position that causes ash to drop? The unit was built in November of 2025 and arrived Dec 15, 2025 but all that notes that on the metal sheet from the back is a dimple in a box, and for the model number. I might have bought a different make of wood stove had I known all the above for $100 more plus the separate purchase of a blower....and all of them seemed to be out of stock.
