I am obsessed with this bed. I did do this partly by myself and that was easy up until adding the side panels to the headboard and then my husband let me use his tools instead of the tiny little "L" thing they include with the kit. My husband also ended up helping me with the main frame **PAY ATTENTION on those directions for the frame! If you mess up ONE single pole, you have to remove almost all the bolts to fix it..
