It was for my daughter to give her a desk and hang out space and a place to put a papasan chair to watch tv while also upsizing her from a twin to a full size bed. Went together easily and is very sturdy. We got the white and she loves it- her only complaint is that going down the metal thin stairs with bare feet hurts so I’ll have to get some fabric and make some kind of padded stair wrap with cushion and velcro. Bought this loft bed for our 15 year old son and we are very impressed with the quality of the product and how easy it was to put together!
