The only reason it took that long was because I accidentally installed the headboard sides backward and had to fix them—completely my mistake! Once assembled, the bed was exactly as described. The only thing that wasn’t clear was where to put the slats when you were adding that in but again you can use your best judgment of where to add in the screws. I put this bed together by myself and it took me 3 hours to finish, you have everything you need in one box and the instructions are very easy to follow.
