I really like this bed! Delivered by FedEx in one large heavy box, very hard to carry without additional help. The unboxing was smooth aside from there being no instructions included. We were able to find ins instructions for this item online with a bit of searching. I put it together with help from one other person. Would have been more difficult to do alone. Took us about 2 hours or so. The quality is nice and I like the way it looks (just as pictured). I got the queen size in color Ivory Canvas. I have a 12” mattress that works really with the height of the headboard. My biggest complaint is that it says the space beneath the bed is 5-6” but it’s more like 3” so none of my under bed storage fits. Overall would recommend this product to others!. Anonymous. This bed was very easy to build. I built it by myself with maybe an hour a little bit more than an hour. The instructions will clear on how to use all the materials that they packed into the back of the headboard. The only thing that wasn’t clear was where to put the slats when you were adding that in but again you can use your best judgment of where to add in the screws. There are a TON of beds similar to this for much cheaper, but it was nearly half off and several hundred more normally so I went for it. It is someone different than the many industrial look beds out . The mattress shown is 14” thick and not yet expanded. I think there might be a tolerable 1” gap if you got a 12” mattress. It’s really beautiful, all wood, and what one hopes for when getting the cheaper ones, which are fine for dorms. But this thing is really solid and unbelievably heavy.
