I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. I’m happy with how this electric fireplace looks. Right now, I have it hanging on the wall, but it can also be recessed. My husband is going to cut the drywall and recess it, and I think it will look even better once it’s built into the wall. There are several flame colors to choose from, and the brightness can be dimmed depending on the look you want. It also has a heater that can be turned on or off, which will be nice for chilly evenings. The remote makes it easy to control, and it also has a timer. I was looking for something cool to do on this wall to make it like a feature in our living room. When I found this recessed wall mounted electric fireplace. I was super excited. I thought this would be the perfect thing to make that wall a feature. I have an appointment with our contractor next week to get this officially installed in the wall. Putting it together was very easy. It came with everything you need except for a screwdriver, you take out 2 screws to place all of your crystals and wood. You can really place them however you want, which I thought was cool. It comes with a remote, which is awesome. This thing changes to so many colors. It is so cool you can make your flame any color and the lights under the rocks any color. I really like the different color combinations. And this thing actually puts out heat perfect for those chilly nights in the fall in winter. The colors are super bright and bold. I was not expecting it to be such high-quality. My contractor says the installation will be a breeze. He suggested placing it eye level when sitting to make it a focal point. This fireplace is gorgeous and I highly recommend it.
