After installing a new floor and toilet in a bathroom fitted with polished brass fixtures the old chrome stop valve and white plastic coiled supply line stuck out like a sore thumb. In a matter of minutes I sweated a length of half inch copper pipe, closed the valve with its easy quarter-turn action, and turned the water back on. After cutting to size a polished brass 38 to 58 closet supply (purchased at a local plumbing supplier) and installing it between the stop valve and toilet the new water supply is an attractive addition to our renovated bathroom."..."
