Well, what can I say, this tub valve is doing its job nicely. We recently installed this tub valve as part of a bathroom remodel, and so far it has performed exactly as expected. The valve feels solid and well-made, and the installation process was straightforward for our plumber. Water temperature is easy to adjust and remains consistent while in use. The included components appeared to be high quality, and everything fit together properly without any issues. We paired it with matching trim, and the finished look is clean and professional. The diverter replacement was great. Originally ordered it for the shower remodel and it came in but the diverter was damaged a d reordered a new set only to find several pieces were missing in the box. Ordered the diverter by itself and received it quick then the 3rd set we ordered finally arrived arrived about 4 weeks late. We ordered from Delta directly, ordered one from the showroom and ordered one online just to get the shower done and see which venue would get it to us first. This valve with a square plaster guard allows for right-angle cuts.

This valve seems to be a serious one but can’t comment yet on full functionality since the remodel is still going on. Wayfair should review timelines for submitting reviews and increase to 6-12 months the timeframe so that customers can give more informed view on the product. The installer had no issues in plugging everything in, i have used it with copper lines, the stops are really useful to test everything and the preliminary tests were working all good. Designed exclusively for Delta faucets.

This thing always had a sloppy, wobbly action, until it broke. The pieces show that the plumber must’ve cranked that Allen wrench hard, to screw through the plastic, because the tab on the handle doesn’t fit snugly into the slot on the piece. No wonder it’s been discontinued, and the non-compatible new ones seem to have brass parts, but I can’t find any that fit RP 37902. My plumber said he’s never seen a part discontinued without there being a replacement, and this plastic part is truly a bad design.. Plasticine Porter. Thu Oct 26 2023
