This wok is exactly what I needed and getting as an “open box” item made it possible for my budget. We eat a lot of stir fried vegetables and I needed a wok that works on an induction range. This heavy duty, very large wok has an extra handle opposite the regular one, making lifting it from the stove easy. Its non-stick surface works well. I believe one could put it into the dishwasher but it is simple to wash since nothing sticks and it’s really too large to fit. Once the pan is dry use the oil of choice and with a paper towel apply it around the interior and exterior of the pan. You may also continue to rub the pan with a hand towel to ensure the oil is evenly coated throughout the pan. Place your pan back on the stove and heat until smoking. Be sure to heat the sides of the pan over the flame to ensure the entire surface area is heated. Once smoking turn the heat off and allow the pan to cool quickly. While the oven is preheating - Wash the pan with warm soapy water dry it with a towel and then place it on the stovetop and heat to ensure the pan is thoroughly dried. Place the pan into the fully heated oven upside down on the rack above the foil-lined baking sheet. Leave the pan in the oven for an hour. After an hour turn off the oven but leave the pan in there until it is cool to the touch.

I'm delighted with my new stockpot set, (having waited to the age of 55 to own such a luxury, I researched for a few weeks before deciding on BergHOFF Dina) We had a neighborhood soup party and I also found them perfect for making demi glaze. I love that the diameter fits on each burner without extending over neighboring burners so that every spot on the stovetop can be utilized. Great even cooking...no hot spots, even when soups remain over flame for 12+ hours.....demi glaze, more than 24 hours.......AND they look beautiful. Please consider making a 15-16 quart.
