This is a Nordic Ware Oven Essentials 16 inch medium roasting pan. I was quite surprised at how heavy it is! I didn't expect such a heavy pan. This pan is red enamel on the outside and has a non stick coating on the inside for easy clean up. I love this pan! It cleans up so easily. Nothing sticks to it. I have made bbq chicken legs in it a few times now and clean up is a breeze. I always had to soak my glass pan in order to get it clean. The handles on this pan are very well made and make removing it from the oven very easy. I love the red color! It does recommend hand washing which is not a problem for me since I do not have a dishwasher. This roaster can easily hold a 7 lb chicken. I did a lot of research on best quality roasting pans and the Mauviel was at the top of the list on most cooking sites. I consider myself a serious home chef and this is very much an exceptional addition to my kitchen. The pan is very heavy and the V-rack extremely sturdy. The handles are designed for optimal retrieval from the oven, unlike many of the pans I looked at. This pan can accommodate any size roast to a very large turkey. One of the negatives on many sites was the price, but I don't believe $150 for a superior product to be too expensive. I'm sure this pan will last a lifetime, with many culinary successes in the process."..."  Read more

I used this pan to roast a turkey. It doesn't come with a roasting rack but I didn't use one at all and the turkey still came out fine. I had a 17-pound turkey and it fit snugly in this pan, which turned out smaller than what I thought. But the turkey still cooked great and the pan was very sturdy, especially when lifting it in and out of the oven with such a heavy bird in it. The pan was very easy to clean because it is non-stick. I hand-washed it - no dishwasher. I also really like the color of the pan, which is one of the reasons why I got it. I can't wait to cook more things in this pan!"..."  Read more
