Put approximately 2 teaspoons of Cast Iron Cleaner in with a small amount of clean warm water into the pan and rub with a plastic brush or clean rag. If dealing with stubborn or hardened food, let the pan sit with warm water and cleaner for about 10 minutes, then scrub. This cleaner does an excellent job of releasing even the toughest gunk. Rinse the cast iron with clean water. Wipe the cast iron dry with a clean dry rag. Apply a light coating of Cast Iron Conditioner, warm cast iron back up and let cool. After each use, re-applying a small amount of Cast Iron Conditioner on all surfaces of cast iron, this will help continue to build your patina.|

Indispensable for World-Class Bread
Linda from Grants Pass, OR – Verified Buyer
Hubby, my dependable midnight baker, is a true cast-iron cook (he even wrote a cookbook to prove it). For his to-make-you-swoon spelt bread with the sesame seed topping, he uses ONLY these cast iron pans. And the results are spectacular. No other loaf pan gives the same slightly crunchy, consistent browning. His forty years of baking experience can attest to this: cast iron loaf pans are far and away the best producers of superior breads.
Thinking of buying more of these Pans

There are several great recipes for No-Knead bread which greatly increase convenience, reduce time needed to bake bread and give crusty, light, artisan-style loaves. But most of those are cooked in round dutch ovens and produce a round loaf. I wanted to make bread we could also toast in our inexpensive, two-slice toaster. I bought two of these cast iron bread pan and followed the recipe I use for no-knead bread. Using parchment paper to line aluminum bread pans I already owned, I let the dough rise in those pans. To bake, I preheated my cast iron bread pans, transferred the dough with parchment paper, covered the pans with aluminum foil for the first 30 minutes in the oven, uncovered for another 30 minutes and had two loafs of fabulous bread. You can bake more loaves at one time by using these pans, rather than space-grabbing dutch ovens. I only wish these pans would come with a cast-iron cover. And cast iron should not be cleaned in a dishwasher.
Cast Iron Bread Pan Recommended!

The cast iron pans are designed with an accessible handle which makes it easy to carry to the oven and out of the oven. The size of the loaf is an ideal size for sandwich making slices. When receiving these pans, they were actually ready to use because they had already been seasoned. I used the bread pans with bread recipe for my weekly bread baking for quite a few years. Baking the bread in the Camp Chef cast iron bread pans was amazing. The bread baked well with a nice crust on the top and without a mushy soft bottom. Because the pans get extremely hot which happens with cast iron, I am ensured that there is even heat. I also tried the cast iron pans baking banana bread. Once again I experienced wonderful results. If you are looking for a cast iron bread pan for yourself, or as a gift to a new bride to be or anyone else for that matter, this would be a great purchase. Something that could be passed on to future generations. Note: I received this product at no charge as a review opportunity for Wayfairs.
