We purchased two of the 30 inch Carol custom stools and two "non-cushion" Aloha barstools for our 43 inch tall kitchen bar to try and cut down the overall cost (by not buying 4 of these more expensive stools). We purchased the 30 inch stool and found the height to be much better than the 29 inch Aloha stools we purchased. We've had the stools for approximately 2.5 months and we wished we would have paid the extra money to buy 4 of the Carol stools.They look great, and are far more comfortable with the cushion and back rest on them. There are 4 of us in our family and we often race to the bar to get the "good stool" (Carol stool) first. That kind of says it all![...] We discovered that we have additional room for more barstools and will definitely be purchasing the Carol stools. We found this bar stool at a local store for 299. We loved them, but couldnt imagine paying that much. After a quick internet search, we found the exact same bar stool on Wayfair for less than half the price. We couldnt be happier. These bar stools are very well built and come in a variety of styles. My only minor complaint (like some other reviews) is that the seat swivel is very stiff in the beginning. After a few uses, they do loosen up."..."  Read more
