I bought these because my dog is aging and keeps sliding and slipping as she goes up and down the stairs. These carpet treads help her with her grip and are particularly helpful when it is raining. However, when our parents come over we remove them because they do slide around and I would hate for them to slip and fall. The stair treads are exactly what I expected. Color is spot on and amazing slip resistant. I don’t think anything else will be needed to prevent slipping. Size options were a definite bonus . My only problem was with Fed ex and the very long delivery time Twice all tracking stopped .highly recommend these to anyone who needs customized sizing .
