I love these for foot comfort. I just wish they were as deep as my first set I purchased from Wayfair (30"x 9 1/2"). These are only 8" deep. There were some treads that had flaws (loose gel under the clear film) so after talking to representative Jana (super nice and helpful) about them they are going to send me another set. These are the new type that have the sticky backing so grab you a seat and expect to take a while to remove the backing. There's a learning curve. Carol. Concord, CA. Sat Jun 06 2026

The Goodyear “Moderna” Rubber Stair Mats are durable and reliable products that will provide long-lasting staircase safety to indoor and outdoor stairways. These “Moderna” anti-slip stair treads are made of reclaimed and natural rubber materials that are inherently resistant to damaging physical factors, such as impacts, abrasions, and weathering. Rubber naturally enhances traction, but with the addition of linear corrugations, these mats provide a substantially greater amount of traction. They are 9.75” x 29.75” in size, covering most stair sizes. These “Moderna” staircase mats are also 3/16”-thick, acting as barriers protecting your stairs against potential damage. The “Moderna” non-slip safety treads are built for both indoor and outdoor environments. In the outdoors, their natural and reclaimed rubber compositions make them highly resistant to factors such as UV rays, ozone, and oxygen. Furthermore, the unique, zig-zagging surface pattern on the surfaces of these “Moderna” rubber stair covers offers a textured surface that further secures footing on each stair mat. Not only does this surface texture increase traction—it also helps scrape away unwanted debris from shoes. Best of all, these commercial “Moderna” stair mats are very DIY-friendly—easily installed yourself with the use of a double-sided tape adhesive. And if you need to alter the size or shape of your anti-slip steps, they can be easily customized with the use of a utility blade.
