I bought two of these units on sale and they are great additions to my home; however, I had a problem with the dowels that were provided with the bookcase. There were two sizes and the short ones were still too long for the drilled holes. While trying to make the shelves snug up to each other, one of the dowels punched through the surface. I took some gardening scissors and cut all of the short dowels down and the bookcase went together well after that. I made sure I did the same to the second bookcase in order to avoid damaging the shelves. All in all, it is a great bookcase for the price and quite sturdy once it is put together. We are using them for our video games and accessories.

Love it. I bought it to store records for a recently purchased record player. Nice, lightweight, but not sure how much weight it could hold if its under too much distress. But it holds the weight of a fifteen pound record player just and looks great too. Tape sticks well, but if you plan on placing something heavy on it, Id be safe and reinforce with a few screws just to be safe. Overall great purchase for the price.

This works great for our basement, the size was perfect to fit in a 3-ft opening, and it doesn't stick out very far from the wall. It takes a bit to assemble all the pieces that form the cubes, but for the price, it was worth it. The drawers are made from fabric, but are well supported, so they hold their shape. I wish they sold extra drawers because this one only includes 5, and if I had to guess the drawers will wear out before the unit itself.

The bookcase looks as it does on line-- we got the light oak color and it's fine. Buyers should know the stain is uneven so it looks darker in some places than in others. The lip on the back edge means the top fits snugly to the wall over the baseboard, which is nice. It seemed smaller than I anticipated, but it will look nice when fully loaded. Our biggest concern was that two experienced patient adults had a hard time putting it together because of the number of holes that have to be aligned in the final steps. Not sure what can be done, but a third pair of hands helped a lot at the end. We also opted to paint the backing boards white before we put them on (the wall behind is white) because the color wasn't quite the same as the shelves, and white makes things pop a little more in the cubbies. We are very happy with the two we bought.

This is a lovely piece! It’s attractive, solid, and was reasonably easy to put together...it took me about an hour, and that’s without assistance from other humans (the cats were of no use, either). I had two small issues, which reduced the stars to 4 1) I mangled the second cam trying to tighten it with the same drill I was using to tighten the screw thingys. The drill also popped right through the paper finish on one of the shelves. Word to the wise this wood isn’t really wood, but pressed particle board with a paper finish, and can’t handle power tool cam tightening. Use a screwdriver. There aren’t any extra bits, so if you mangle one of them, your completed bookshelf will have a structural weakness. 2) The two little legs screw into the bottom of the unit. Don’t over tighten these. I did, and one split. I was kind of surprised that there was nothing on the bottom of these to protect your floors, too...it’s just raw wood.

It’s great. Looks great and was easy to put together. And the function is great too. Easy open and close of door and magnet works well. Perfect for small storage! I have not tried to stack any of them but there are holes in case you want to. If not, it came with little stickers to cover the hole. I think everything nowadays is overpriced for what it is including this. It was great though! But for one small box in this material is not worth 25. It should have been maybe 15! But oh well, not much you can do about it. I didn’t have to go on a wild goose chase for it in like 20 diff brick and mortar stores.... I guess the extra cost is for convenience.

Purchased for my daughter’s room and it is cute and easy to assemble. Only 4 stars because of the quality. It is not top of the line material and to me priced about 10-15 too much. Just being honest. I also purchased the cube with the magnetic door and would say the exact same thing for it. Would I purchase either one again So far my answer is Yes.

I have purchased this cube storage item elsewhere. The other piece of furniture did not come in colorsstains, nor were the instructions worthy of being printed. Per Wayfair’s quality, these units came in various wood stains and accommodated cubies one might find anywhere in the needed 10” x 10” in many patterns. Wayfair has an excellent selection, but not as broad as stores in your local area. Instructions allow for a one-person setup. You can place it as seen in the photo or tip it over to make a 3 x 2 taller storage unit. Doing so conserves floor space while giving the same cubic storage size. Shipment was speedy, and although the exterior box was damaged, Wayfair’s internal packing saved the storage unit from scratches or broken wood. If you want consistency, this unit could be purchased in multiples while varying the cube inserts in material, patterns, and or colors.

I had this bookcase several years ago, and I bought it again. It is manufactured wood, but is is thick and durable, even more so if you use glue when assembling. If you order the black color, you can color in dings with a black marker. For those who move frequently , the two-cube and four-cube models are light and small enough for one person to carry up and down stairs easily. It is not fine furniture, but it looks good and I am not really settled enough to have fine furniture.

This is a good shelf that serves its purpose. The assembly wasn’t difficult; everything was fine. There were enough parts, and the assembly itself was easy. The shelf has been in use for about a year and a half. There have been no visible damages to it. The shelf has been holding quite heavy books all this time. However, I should note that the shelf, with its thin partitions, doesn’t look very stable. We bought it for a children’s room, but in the end, we were afraid to leave it unsecured with heavy books on it, as we were worried a child might try to climb on it and it could fall over. The shelf doesn’t come with a wall-mounting option. In the end, we placed it inside a wardrobe, where it can’t fall. So, overall it’s okay, but it looks rather unstable and flimsy

Perfect for my husband's tv, great for storage, and looks great as well. A win/win! .. UPDATE: I have ordered two of these cabinets. The first one came in great shape, so I knew what to expect as far as looks and usage, reason for my review above. I, unfortunately, did not unbox the second one until today. It was damaged in many places, one side of box was ripped and dented which caused dents in several boards and a huge hole in the center toward the edge in one of the thick boards. I took photos, but we put it together (holes, dents, and all) and will try to hide some of the damage with a cloth runner or something. It appears the damage was caused in shipping from the condition of the box, but I am not sure if it left warehouse like that? Love the cabinet, not the damage. I have ordered many, many things from Wayfair, and most have came in great shape. This was a disappointment. We love the first one we ordered and have used it for so many things, reason for the second order. Reason for this update is to note possible shipping problems with carrier? I am past my 30 days for this item's return, but posting some photos, including the delivery photo showing the torn place on the side of box at delivery). This had to have been dropped really hard to create the damage of a hole 2 inches deep into the one shelf. Many places were damaged besides the large hole. Styrofoam pieces still in the hole.

This is a nice sturdy bookcase, and overall I like the white color that I purchased, but I recently bought a larger version in a brown wood that I think actually looks much nicer than the white. It is easy to assemble, I was able to do it by myself in about 45 min and came out nicely. My only annoyance with it is that the back of the unit bows out in the middle despite nailing it down in all of the right places along the edges. It looks odd to me and flaps a bit when the unit is moved. I wish there was a way to secure the middle of the backing to the rest of the unit to prevent that. Overall great piece and it will work well for my baby's nursery. The cubes fit standard 13x13" canvas square totes , which is nice too!

It's exactly what I needed. I keep it on top of a cabinet, because there were some binders there that wouldn't stand upright like in a bookcase and they kept falling, as their plastic covers were slippery. I had trouble assembling it and lifting it up. I would have preferred something like that but already assembled, maybe even made of hardwood (I realize that it would have been even heavier). The size was great (I hesitated before buying in case it would have been taller than the ceiling once placed on the cabinet, but it was perfect). I got the brown one and it looks nice. It did not come damaged.

Though it says it’s a closet organizer, I find that it will work perfectly for a TV stand and to organize my skincare and makeup as well as some of my accessories. After removing the parts from the box and arranging them to see what I would need to assemble the organizer, I found that it would be easy to put it all together, and the instructions were easy to follow. It took me less than an hour to assemble the organizer to be ready for use. The dark walnut finish is one of my favorite things about this beautiful piece. If you wanted to, you could purchase the 11x11 inch cubes to make organization even easier and the finished look would be personalized to your liking. I highly recommend this piece of beautiful furniture for anyone who needs a little help with organizing. If you don’t need an organizer, this piece could easily be used as a book case or for knickknacks, etc. your imagination is the limit.

This was perfect for my son’s room. He has a ton of books and just needed something simple that fit in a small place. Assembly was easy and it looks nice. A decent value for the money. Not super high quality but wasn’t expecting it at this price. Very pleased. If you plan on using fabric bins, you will need the smaller sized ones (9”).

I LOVE this unit. I purchased it in white. I originally had two separate shelves with 6 cubbies each. My bedroom serves as my office as well. My plan is to make the two flow. My colors are light gray, white, black and tangerine. I don't want to see a serious office space when I am relaxing in my bed. For a little touch of whimsy and charm I painted the outside border squares of some of the cubbies (the outer flat surface) tangerine. I also purchased the Lamp-in-a-Box (Oranges) for my desk (also purchased from Wayfair.) My corner desk and chandelier above the corner desk too are from Wayfair. By getting rid of the two half shelves (made by the same manufacturer) and turning this 12-cubbie shelf upright has opened my room up tremendously. I am gradually purchasing tangerine and black binders for my transcripts and strategically placing them on the shelves. Well worth the price! Pros: Tyhis shelf fulfilled all of my needs! Cons: It was not free :)

The bookcases looks very nice. The 2 main long wood structure (LETTER B AND C ) had a dent , but luckily was in the back of the book case so I can live with it , but over all the pieces in the packages are not damaged. The package needs to be carry by two people is very heavy or a dolly or a neighbor .....and always look outside because delivery guys do not ring or stay , they drop the box and that is all. To improve and grow quality I must say : - is the wood part mark as G it should be expanded all the way to up; but for those of you who like to have a mix between classic and what ever other is called , it looks good and is not a issue. So to understand better the wood marked G covers half of the bookcase and above it is covered with cardboard marked letter H -pl. see pictures. The metallic pins that holds the selves nr. F should be replace because they slide out every time , or the selves should be build differently. I need to replace them with the other ones made of wood and then glue the selves to the pin. The selves marked F , should on the back to be also laminated , And also the top selves marked A it should be laminated mandatory because oil or air from the house environment enter that wood and damage it and is impossible to clean.....and it looks unfinished and if you double used, witch is one bookcase prompted to the wall and the other one not prompted to the wall it looks ugly. -see pictures. The screws , nr. H72988 when you screw it in the wood is tiered apart and then if you remove it and screw it again it lose grip. In other words the hole and screw is for one time use. Furthermore, build this bookcases and do not take it apart never;it is one assembly time only. It give them more stars because , they give us a lots of extra pieces, the color of the bookcases is beautiful,the bookcase looks professional or classic , they packed very well and they give you info to help you in any way . To assemble the book case is very easy and the instructions are easy to follow. My 4 year old son help me reading it and put it in. Last but not least , when the cardboard marked H is nailed in , will destroy the laminated finish and I choose to not put it . And also looks funny because you have wood half of bookcase and a chubby cardboard on the other half of bookcase.....so as visual and design they do not match and do not look good....is better not to nail it . Also I bought to bookcases and the second one had no damage what so ever, was perfect .

I bought the Bookcase for my Niece, for Christmas,!!! SO I won't be able to see them until then, but I am VERY SURE that she will enjoy them!!!! I have NEVER BEEN disappointed with anything that I have gotten from you, except according to you, I have 2 Vacuums and 2 Electric Tea Pots, WHEN I ONLY HAVE 1 VACUUM AND 1 ELECTRIC TEA POT!!!! I REFUSED SHIPMENT ON BOTH THE VACUUM CLEANER AND THE ELECTRIC TEA POT WITH FEDEX!!!! I HAVE BEEN PAYING ON BOTH, BECAUSE, OF COURSE I HAVE NO PAPER WORK TO PROVE OTHERWISE, BUT I HAVE WRITTEN TO YOU AND E-MAILED YOU THAT I ONLY HAVE 1 VACUUM CLEANER, A RED SHARK LIGHTWEIGHT UPRIGHT, BAGGLESS AND REMOVABLE CANISTER!!!! I ALSO HAVE ONLE ONE RED ELECTRIC TEA POT WHICH IS A SALTON BRAND, WITH AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF!!! I keep leaving messages like this, but NO ONE EVER GETS BACK WITH ME!!! So I continue to pay for 2 ITEMS THAT I DON'T HAVE!!!!
