I like the design. For anyone that has books or dvd's it maybe hard for them to prop up alone without support. Only issues is the packers at the warehouse or manufacture packed it with scuffs in the black paint on multiple parts. I tried to hide them toward the back side. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure. I got two… saw the same item on furniture stores for much more. Not sure if it’s the exact one or a knock off. But it comes fully assembled which is good. The back is just particle board. One had a nail pop out in the particle board and crack it. The other came with a big split in the wood up top. its beautiful and sturdy, I really needed a bigger book shelf to hold all the books I had around the house and this fit the bill perfectly. I love the arch Sao much it really elevates our whole living room. It required book ends though but I didn't mind having to find some I liked, it adds a level of elegance to the shelves too. Putting this thing together is super easy I did it by myself took about an hour which the instructions noted. It might have taken longer to organize all my books on the shelves.. Bre . Utah. I haven’t been able to fully assemble this piece of furniture, or it’s replacement. Both items are missing the same parts! I think the manufacturer needs to know about this problem. Extremely heavy and solid furniture piece. Zero blemishes and packaged extremely well. I don’t usually complain about packaging smell but this one did have a strong odor.
