I have three of these now and they work great for harvesting rain water. They can be daisy chained together. You can add a longer hose to the ball valve if of you need to. I did swap out the ball valves for brass ones.. Nancy. Crystal Lake, IL. Wed Jun 10 2026

They arrived within 2 days! I was very happy about that. They look sturdy and seem like they'll work really well. I haven't set them up nor do we have rain coming soon so I won't know their true effectiveness until that happens. They look exactly like the photo. Glad to have 4 45-gallon rain catchers!. Allyson. With the appearance of a traditional wooden barrel, the slim-line design of the FCMP Outdoor wood grain rain barrel makes it perfect for locations where a larger barrel would be intrusive. The shallower depth and flat back allow for easy installation and placement of the downspout while the safety rib in the top of the barrel keeps it child and pet-safe. Spigots on the side of the barrel allow you to connect multiple rain catcher barrels in series for easy expansion of your rainwater storage capacity. The corrosion-proof debris screen keeps out debris to keep the water clear. Place them around your home to catch fresh chlorine-free water as it pours from your downspouts - water that would otherwise make its way into storm sewers only to be wasted. Rain barrels not only save you money but lessen the strain on water resources. This barrel is not suitable for freezing temperatures. It must be drained and flipped to avoid ice damage or it will void the warranty. Includes debris screen, garden hose, shut-off thumb valve, hanging hose clip, overflow hose, and linking kit. Only thing that would make these better would be a lighter color. The opening at the top allows for more open air catchment since i dont want to catch from our older roof tops. Both are set up on bases to help support them. Took a bit for enough rain to collect to make the barrels heavy enough to withstand our high windows. Arrived surpringly quick. Relatively easy to set up.. Cindy. Thu Apr 04 2024

Mixed review on this rain barrel because I love the way it looks, the planter on top is super cool, and it worked great for a couple of months but then the part that attaches the hose to the barrel almost disintegrated and the hose no longer stays in. The excellent news is that when I called, Wayfair is replacing it so hoping for better luck with the second one.. Robin. Superior, WI. Wed Sep 16 2020
