I’ve been looking for storage options for a while, mostly for books but having the option for other things as well, and a dresser was too bulky while a book case was too narrow and tall. This is perfect. It’s well made and looks great. The back is pressed board with a wood laminate and there is definitely an order to install the back panels. There are no pre-drilled holes for the back panels, and while I did it through sheer willpower and determination, a power screwdriver would be helpful. The shipping box was perfectly packed. The setup was simple and didn’t take long at all. I love the little hammer that came with it. The unit is sturdy overall, once everything is completely snapped together correctly. However, the cubes are not 12.4” each. They are 11.5” each. Plus, the connectors take up a lot of space which makes the opening of each cube only 10”. That means the drawers I bought to go inside them don’t fit at all.
