Great unit with excellent quality. The color is a little darker than I expected, almost black, but it works well with the rest of our room. After reading the reviews, we hired professional contractors to assemble it, and they put it together in about 20 minutes. The unit is extremely heavy, so I’m glad we had help. I was a little concerned after seeing several reviews mentioning broken glass shelves, so I’ve avoided placing anything large or heavy on the glass shelf. At first, the piece looked a bit boxy, but once I added books and decorative items, it turned out exactly as I had envisioned. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.. Veronika. Palo Alto, CA. I’ve been looking for storage options for a while, mostly for books but having the option for other things as well, and a dresser was too bulky while a book case was too narrow and tall. This is perfect. It’s well made and looks great. The back is pressed board with a wood laminate and there is definitely an order to install the back panels. There are no pre-drilled holes for the back panels, and while I did it through sheer willpower and determination, a power screwdriver would be helpful. The rest of it is assembled with pre-drilled holes and an Allen wrench, which is exhausting in its own right. One day I will actually hang my mirror.. Kaitlin. Clemson, SC. Wed Nov 30 2022
