This outdoor storage box is massive and holds so much more than I expected! We’re able to fit all of the cushions from our 4-piece outdoor dining set, the cushions and backs from our sectional (2 pieces per seat), plus cushions for two additional swivel chairs. Bought this to store the pool floats and toys in because I was sick of carrying them back and forth from the garage. Now, most everything fits in it on the pool deck with room to spare for small things. I have four blown up pool floats (one of which is bulky with a unicorn head and tail), a small kiddy pool float, some pool noodles, padel boards, and the deck umbrella. And like i said i still have room to add any smaller items. Very spacious. Fairly easy to put together. I put most of it together by myself. Attaching the lid to the hinges on the box was the final step and I did need my husband to help with this. I had a hard time keeping it in place while I tried to screw on each side. It seems sturdy enough so far. I am worried about how to use it in the winter without mice nesting in it. We had a shed that the mice took over and made super disgusting. So Im not sure that Id store anything in this over the winter. There are spaces at the bottom for air flow that the mice can easily access. This 260 gallon water resistant resin lockable deck box is HUGE! In a good way! It would be an excellent option for storing patio cushions during rain and snow since it is water resistant. Although we considered that option, we are going to use it for product deliveries to our home to help packages from getting wet and destroyed and or stolen. We will have the lock open and ask the delivery driver to lock it when they leave. It is very durable and was easy to put together. The only problem that I feel could have some attention to are the directions. They are very confusing and not very user friendly. I probably could have put it together a lot quicker without looking at the directions. Besides that, the functionality and integrity of the deck box is truly a five-star. This deck box is absolutely massive and holds everything I needed it to- with room left over! I garden so I needed somewhere to store my extra soil, mulch, and even some extra pots. They were so cluttered in my house and patio so this was my solution. It worked great and there’s even room for more. The only thing I would maybe change would be sealing it a little better- I don’t need a full lock with a code needed or anything but sometimes a strong wind shifts the lid a bit so I’d like to be able to lock it in place.
