I searched a long time for a storage bench that would fit at least three or four couch pillows so when theyre not in use I could put them in there and not have my pets ruin them. I also have a short wall, so I needed something not as wide, which is very difficult to find. I love that it came as one piece and I only had to screw on the feet. I love that this ottoman converts to a table by flipping the top over. It's a great size at 30 inches and equally as high as my couch seat. It's very pretty and the legs are turned wood. The table arrived in one box and only requires the legs to be screwed into the bottom. Right out of the box the wood portion of the tabletop was separated from the underside of the cushion. I had to get out some serious glue and straighten out all of the staples that were sticking out so that we could press the wood back into place and it would hold. There was also quite a large stain on the top edge as well as some finish was flaked off of one of the nail heads. It honestly looks like it was used and stuffed back into a box to resell. With the stain scrubbed out and the lid fixed, it functions well as both ottoman and table except that the lid isn't secured in either position, so it constantly slides to one side or another.
